Loading screen tips
When playing on Escalation, the loading screen has several tips intended to help players understand mechanics or progression systems not found on other maps. These are:
- Certain melee weapons can break down metal doors.
- Watch your head for falling objects.
- Explosive barrels are highly dangerous.
- Books can allow you to craft various unique items and structures.
- Glass can be broken by running through it.
- The safezone can be accessed through various hatches, with a keycard. It can also be exited out to random locations.
- Powerful Strike Calls can be called in with the use of the LTLM.
- NPCs can provide medical care for a price.
- The safezone has offerings for sustenance, clothing, and weapons.
- The hammer and wrench can repair things. Hammers are better at repairing structures and barricades, while wrenches are better at repairing vehicles.
- 3D Printers can allow you to print attachments and storages using filament.
- A Blast Forge requires power to run, and will allow for you to make metal structures with Refined Oil.
- The wood doesn't burn hot enough to cook. A Blowtorch will be needed to cook.
