Antarctica was an insane sized April Fool's playable map in Unturned. The map was temporarily featured and promoted during the 3.23.5.0 update. The map had an extremely fast development, going from concept to creation in only 4 days.
The map is mostly barren, with only 3 notable locations with any detailing. The item spawns are similarly sparse, being a random assortment of official items.

Loading screen tips
When playing on Antarctica, the loading screen has several tips which are primairly jokes:
- Fact : Antarctica is completely covered by an average of 2km of ice! That's 1.24274238 miles!
- Fact : Antarctica is the fifth largest[sic] continent!
- Fact : Over 1000 species of fungi have been found on the continent!
- Fact : The de-facto Antarctic flag represents the south pole[sic]!
- Fact : There are some people that have been on Antarctica!
- Fact : There are about 5 million penguins on Antarctica!
- Fact : Antarctica contains 90% of the world's ice!
- Fact : Antarctica is very windy!
- Fact : The air is toxic here. Every breath you take will slowly poison you. As you wither away, only you can decide what to do to try and save yourself. Fun!
- The answer to survival is in your heart.
- Animals carry lots of organic matter and may need to be persuaded through violence to share it with you.
- You can hunt animals for their meat!
- Military gear can be obtained from military locations.
- Being exposed to snow will decrease the temperature of your body.
- Try to work together with other survivors instead of fighting them, you can achieve more together!
- Zombies can pose a serious threat. You can distract them with flares!
- You can obtain experience points by reading books.
- Tourniquets can be used to treat bleeding.
- Various items can usually be broken down into components.
- Low body temperature can lead to hypothermia.
- Boats can be used to safely travel across cold water.
- You can eat food to get rid of hunger.
- Blue crystals make some bears addicted and hyper aggressive.
- You can use Blowtorch to repair structures.
- You will need a gasmask in order to venture into radioactive zones.
- Nighttime is very dark, make sure to have a Flashlight!
- Use stars to navigate.
- Building a shelter can be necessary in order to survive!
