Enemies in Unturned II

Enemies in the Unturned II private beta served as an active hazard to players. During the development of Unturned II, there were four types of enemies.

Zombies

Horde Classic Zombie

Zombies would have been the most common type of enemy in Unturned II, and part of a larger faction called "the Turned". There were two types of zombies in the private beta: the Horde Classic Zombie that appeared on horde maps, and the Shade Zombie that was only spawnable through console commands. It was planned for Shade Zombies to spawn when a player died to a zombie, but this was not fully implemented in the private beta.

Bandits

Bandits can be found on some of the playable maps. These were hostile humans, and they utilized the same items available to players. Their AI behavior was very basic during the private beta – only being able to move and attack – but it was planned for them to act more intelligent, such as by taking cover.[1]

Drones

Tri-rotor drones could be found on some of the playable maps. These drones would fly around and scan for players. If they detected a moving player, they would fire upon them with a weapon that behaved similar to the Eaglefire weapon. These drones were planned to be part of a larger "Scorpion-7" faction.
